✨ Drumroll, please… Welcome to Fairy Tales & Finish Lines! (Aka my accidental pursuit of becoming an influencer??)

I’m Ali-- just your average millennial mom, running on caffeine, chaos, and the occasional uninterrupted shower. I’m a firm believer that every mess has a little magic in it (or at least some glitter I can’t bring myself to vacuum up).

So, what’s this blog about? Buckle up, because every hyperfixation I have will be on full display, but hopefully mostly focused on running and mom life.

Join me as I impart unsolicited thoughts and musings... and a very real display of my hot mess moments.

SO much to say about The #publixhalfmarathon, but the most important is this: my family is amazing and was able to cheer me on at not one, but two different parts of the race!! It made the finish line victory that much sweeter. Love you, crew 😘 HOW
SO much to say about The #publixhalfmarathon, but the most important is this: my family is amazing and was able to cheer me on at not one, but two different parts of the race!! It made the finish line victory that much sweeter. Love you, crew 😘 HOWEVER. It was the hardest race I have ever run in my life. Besides saying "oh hill" every two minutes, it was hot. REALLY hot. At mile 10, I almost gave up. But I have a really great running partner (@julianaclark) who helped me push through. I genuinely thought I was going to cry/throw up/pass out for the last three miles, but I didn't and we finished with a PR!! And also thank you to @atlantatrackclub who provided the opportunity to share my love of running with my kids. They all raced in a 50m dash and got medals at the end. They are so proud of themselves and I'm proud of them for doing something new!
